I came home from school the other day and found this in the fridge! I had to take a picture to show Justin later. It made me laugh so much!

How can this not make you so happy? I love having these geraniums outside my front door. They bloomed a little while ago and we've been wanting to get a picture. I am so grateful for the simple things that make life so beautiful.

catch up from the last 3 months

Just a few snapshots from our lives the last three months. We have been really busy with school, but we have also had a lot of fun. Picking up from where we left off at the end of the fall semester...

We purchased a breadmaker at Goodwill and tried out our first loaf. Something clearly went very wrong. We found out it was the yeast and our second loaf turned out just fine. :)

Reading Day

Yesterday was the last day of classes here at Arizona State. And today is Reading Day. Justin informed me that it's called "Dead Day" at the University of Arizona. I like Reading Day better.

The semester always seems to fly by, but it was especially quick this year. I like it when it's quick. However, I am having the sudden realization that this is my second-to-last Reading Day, my second-to-last batch of finals, and my last Christmas break before I graduate. It's rather odd that May 2011 is actually coming, and soon! I'm excited to be done with school soon, but there are a lot of big decisions that have to be made between now and then. How will I know what to do with myself when I'm not in school? That's what I've been doing since I was five!

The hardest part about being done with school now is that this past semester has been the best of my life. Justin and I both agree that school is way more fun when you're married. We've enjoyed driving to school, eating lunch on campus, and taking a few classes together. We went to school together for eight semesters before I fell in love with him, so this past semester has been so good. I like it this way.

Wedding Pictures

Tomorrow will be four wonderful months of marriage for Justin and I. To celebrate, I thought I'd post some of our pictures from the wedding. Chris Paxman took our pictures. It is so fun to look at pictures and remember our special day!

I am so grateful for the sacrifices our parents and families made to make the day so beautiful and wonderful. We are so grateful to be married and enjoy life together!

Pumpkin Bagels!

This fall, Justin introduced me to the delicious pumpkin bagels and pumpkin shmear at Einstein's. I never knew they existed, but they do. However, the window of opportunity to eat one is small because they are seasonal. So last Saturday, we headed to our local Einstein Bros. Bagels and ordered two. We enjoyed them at Tempe Town Lake (which is now full again!) I heartily enjoyed the pumpkin bagels and would recommend them to all.



We walked around the lake and saw different inscriptions on stones in the wall. I especially related with this one:

Did you know that there are prehistoric fish fossils at Tempe Town Lake? Cool, huh?
